Physical Sciences Inc., located 25 miles north of Boston in Andover MA, is looking for a senior engineer to contribute to a number of programs addressing emerging applications in defense-related missions. Specific projects include the development of a SONAR-based navigational algorithm for unmanned underwater vehicles, the generation of a distributed tactical data management application, and the development of algorithms for object recognition in optical and infrared imagery.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in the design and development of software in C++ and Python, particularly in a Linux environment. Additional experience with signal processing or data analytics is desirable.
A Bachelor’s degree with five years of post-degree experience or a Master’s degree with two years of post-degree experience in Applied Math, Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
US citizenship is required.
