Physical Sciences Inc., located just north of Boston in Andover, is looking for a data analytics/algorithm analyst to contribute to a number of programs developing advanced sensing and data fusion solutions. The candidate will work with a technical team focused on addressing emerging remote imaging and detection applications for a range of government and industry customers. Our development strategy typically spans concept inception through the production of a high fidelity prototype capability that undergoes significant field testing in operationally relevant environments.
We are looking for a candidate with a background in multivariate statistics and regression analysis to help us grow our existing algorithm and data analytics capabilities to provide enhanced detection in support of these sensor development programs. Examples include the development of new hyperspectroscopic automated target recognition algorithms in high clutter scenes and new approaches to compressive imaging/hyperspectral imaging with a single pixel architecture. Experience with image-based target shape determination and localization algorithms is required. Experience in Machine Learning and data fusion from orthogonal sensors are both desirable. The candidate is expected to grow new business through writing proposals and interacting with customers.
A PhD or Masters’ degree with five years of post-degree industry experience in Applied Math, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science is required.
