Our focus is on prototypes and early-stage pilot program demonstrations in varied applications from space vehicles, to squad-level soldier-borne technologies, to micro-engines and airborne refrigeration.

We currently need individuals with strong educational and work experience backgrounds in materials and thermodynamics. Our multidisciplinary team tackles different challenges on a weekly basis, so the ability to re-orient to new challenges and analyze from first principles is critical. The suite of technologies under development includes rotating detonation engines, scramjet ducts, high-performance compact heat exchangers, and hypersonic vehicle components.

The ideal candidate will have worked with one or more of the following: additive manufacturing, heat exchangers, gas turbines, or other engines. Knowledge of machining, heat treating, and advanced manufacturing techniques (laser cutting, 3D printing, EDM, e-beam welding etc.) is a plus. Experience with data acquisition, Python/MATLAB, SolidWorks (or other CAD), and prototype assembly/fabrication are desired.

PhD in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or MS or BS with significant experience is required.

US Citizenship is required.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
