Composites

 PSI has significant experience with fabrication of ceramic matrix composite (CMC) products and components using both vapor phase (CVI) and pre-ceramic polymer impregnation and pyrolysis processing (PIP) routes. Using our PIP technologies we have demonstrated cost effective manufacturing of complex shape CMC components with thermo-mechanical and thermo-chemical stability to over 4900^oF for many minutes of life and long lifetimes at lower temperatures.
