Abstract

Near-IR diode laser sensors and associated fiber-optic networks are finding applications to a variety of aerospace test applications - from large scale ground test facilities to flight testing. The sensors have been used to measure species concentration, temperature, and velocity in a range of flows. Recent applications to scramjet, oxygen-enriched combustion, and flight testing are described. aircraft in late 2000.
