Physical Sciences Inc. (PSI) produces standard versions of our popular research trace gas sensors. Based on tunable, room temperature diode laser technology, these models provide the most advanced electro-optic sensor technology in a reliable and automated package for virtually any application. Features
Applications
PSI's approach to trace gas detection uses reliable InGaAsP diode laser technology developed for the tele- communications industry and proprietary signal processing techniques to provide continuous, pressure- and temperature-compensated measurements of trace gases in process flows. The laser, detector, and control electronics are all housed in a portable 19-in rack-mounted assembly with only fiber and electric cable connections to the measurement locations. The low-power laser radiation is launched across a small open path and the net power absorbed by the water vapor in the beam path is separated from contributions from other gases, obscured optical surfaces, or particulates. A variety of standard and custom optical interfaces are available. Detection limits below 1 ppm-meter - Dynamic range > 103 Table of Sensitivities
