As used here, electromechanical design refers to clever and innovative application of careful mechanical design integrated with electrical/electronic actuation, sensing, and control technologies. For many of our applications, design challenges include the need for precise, high frequency, and reliable performance -- often with a major degree of autonomous control, and often within tight constraints of size, weight, and power consumption.
