Corallimorpharian (Ricordea florida). Roatan, Honduras. Depth 25 meters.

This colonial corallimorpharian (a group that falls between the corals and the anemones) is widespread in the Caribbean. Some specimens appear pink in daylight and fluoresce yellow (at least, they show up yellow in the fluorescence photographs -- under a steady ultraviolet light they appear orange to the eye), while others appear grey to green in daylight and fluoresce bright green.
