Corals (Agaricia sp. (above) and Leptoseris cucullata (below)). Roatan, Honduras. Depth 6 meters.

This photograph shows how corals can fluoresce quite differently. The coral on top fluoresces blue to blue-green, with the fluorescence most marked at the polyps, while the coral on the bottom fluoresces an intense green, spread uniformly over all of the septal ridges.
