Fuels used in advanced propulsion systems not only burn to provide power, but also help cool critical components. We develop technologies for scramjet-powered hypersonic systems that include fuel additives and catalysts for these advanced fuels. Our additives and catalysts increase endothermic heat sinking, suppress coke formation, and generate cracking product distributions promoting faster ignition and more efficient combustion. These support markets in long range cruise missiles and hypersonic flight.
