Infrasonic detection is a well established technique for monitoring many natural and man-made phenomena. Earthquakes, severe weather, avalanches, ocean waves, traffic, aircraft, and other man-made disturbances all produce low frequency signatures that propagate much further than conventional acoustic frequencies. PSI is developing new sensors and technologies for infrasonic frequency detection. We are applying those technologies to a wide range of applications in the scientific and industrial communities.
