Aerospace Systems Enterprise
The Aerospace Systems Enterprise emphasizes two
business areas. The first of these addresses optical system development for
LIDAR and imaging applications. Technologies in this area include interferometry,
focal plane arrays and solid state lasers. The second encompasses the development
of polymers and other materials for sensors, protective surface coatings, and
power applications. Technologies employed in this arena include organic synthesis,
electrochemistry and plasma sources.
