Our focus is on prototypes and early-stage pilot-program demonstrations in varied applications from cubesats to squad-level technologies to micro-engines.

Laser Physicist

Q-Peak - Boston, MA

Q-Peak Inc., located in Bedford, MA, has opportunities for laser physicists/engineers working on technical activities related to contract research and development of new diode-pumped solid state (bulk and fiber) lasers, laser systems, and/or associated nonlinear optics (SHG, OPOs, OPAs). Qualified candidates will have a demonstrated record of independent achievement in laser and nonlinear optics design, engineering, and construction. Experience and/or interest in developing new contract efforts is highly desired.

Senior Electrical Systems Engineer

RSI - Lanham, MD

Research Support Instruments is looking for a Senior Level Electrical Engineer with a breadth of experience in the design, development, integration, and testing of space-based electrical systems. The candidate should be a multidisciplinary individual with experience in multiple aspects of electrical systems. This position will be supporting NASA, NRL, and RSI programs performing systems concept development, design, analyses, hardware development, I&T, operations, and data analysis (complete spaceflight instrument hardware lifecycle).

Contamination Control Engineer

RSI - Lanham, MD

Research Support Instruments is looking for a scientist/engineer with a broad range of experience for the development of optical space flight instrumentation. Contamination in the form of particulates, films, or scattered light can significantly degrade instrument performance and/or lifetime. Management of the cleanliness of optical and nearby surfaces throughout the lifecycle of assembly, integration, test, launch and operations requires a system approach.

Senior Optical Engineer
