Physical Sciences Inc., located just north of Boston in Andover, seeks an Electrical/Electronics Engineer to play a key leadership role in battery systems, next-generation sensor and signal processing research and development programs. This is an opportunity to design, fabricate, test and integrate unique electronic systems from start to finish. Experience in schematic design, layout, PCB procurement, test and integration are a must, as is hands-on experience with modern design tools and test equipment combined with strong prototyping and troubleshooting skills. A good basic understanding of low-noise, high-speed, analog techniques, battery systems and microcontroller / FPGA design is highly desirable.
Self-reliant team players who are able to work well within a multi-disciplinary group of scientists and engineers are sought. The candidate must possess excellent analytical skills, as well as a strong ability to effectively communicate complex technical ideas through both written and spoken English language. The ideal candidate will enjoy a dynamic, creative environment, developing new concepts and ideas, to satisfy cutting edge requirements on a wide range of projects.
BS or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, with 1-2 years of experience is required.
