Physical Sciences Inc. and its InstantEye Robotics Division, located just north of Boston in Andover, develops and manufactures detection technology, laser systems, and tactical unmanned aerial systems that are the technology of choice by military, law enforcement, and first responders around the world. Our team has a need for Electrical Engineers who will design and manufacture PCBs for prototype and production systems, demonstrate the ability to deliver results on time with high quality, work closely with software, aerospace and mechanical engineers in coordinating designs of embedded systems, provide manufacturing support for production systems, work closely with the engineering team to debug problems swiftly and efficiently, and optimize product for low cost and high throughput manufacturability.

The desired experience for the position include: Altium designer, microcontroller and SBC integration, communication protocols (Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, UART), high speed digital layout and digital camera interfaces, analog circuit design, small scale lithium battery power management and protection, digital radios and RF designs, software development (C/C++, MATLAB, Simulation tools), robotics design, and fine pitch soldering rework.

Key qualifications include: a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years of experience and a strong background in designing PCBs with ECAD software, digital circuit design, developing hardware for robotic systems or remotely operated products, and product development from start to finish.
