Experience and/or interest in developing new contract efforts is highly desired.

Opto-Mechanical Engineer

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Physical Sciences Inc., located just north of Boston in Andover, seeks a well-qualified candidate for a position that will contribute to ongoing programs developing LIDAR sensors for remote sensing in defense, atmospheric, environmental, energy, and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of conceptual designs and their refinement and so must be proficient in mechanical design, especially geometric tolerancing, as well as documentation of drawings. Experience in mechanical and thermal analyses is desired.

Optics Technician

PSI - Pleasanton, CA

Working in our Pleasanton facility, we seek an Optics Technician to work in an environment which includes both R&D and the volume production of specialty optical components. This candidate will perform measurements on specialty optical components using tunable diode lasers, micro-positioning equipment, infrared detectors, and optical inspection equipment. Significant experience in the use of lasers and optical systems is required. Familiarity with computerized data acquisition software (LabView), Microsoft Office applications, and execution of Visual Basic macros is also desired.
