Adaptive Optics Spectral Domain Optical Coherence Tomography

The adaptive optics spectral domain optical coherence tomography (AO-SDOCT) system combines adaptive optics for detection and correction of ocular aberrations with high-speed SDOCT. The combination of AO for increased lateral resolution with high axial resolution low coherence interferometry allows micron-level resolution of retinal structures and layers.
