The Small Business Innovation Research program has played a pivotal role in PSI's technical and commercial success. It's been responsible for a family of intelligent instrumentation products based on proprietary electro-optical and electromechanical technologies. Equally extraordinary are the experimental prototype development and manufacturing facilities we have built.
Our success is enabled by our effective methodology for technology transfer and commercialization. Starting with funded R&D projects, the company supports the development of prototype products and services through the pre-commercial stage. Rapid technology product transition to the marketplace is accomplished working with corporate partners to: establish a new focused commercial business; a joint venture; or licensing to a partner with significant presence in a mature market.
